3D-Printing in a new Dimension

We have developed a completely new technology, which also goes different ways than other 3D concrete printing technologies. The biggest differences are that we believe in off-site production / prefabrication and we do not want to print houses or walls but subcomponents (Formwork, Facade, Complex shapes). The SPI technology is like a new tool for the construction industry.

In SPI, a cement paste is injected into a powder bed. The powder bed consists of an aggregate. A print head injects the cement paste in those areas that are to be bonded. After the cement paste has been applied, another layer of aggregate is applied and cement paste is again applied to the defined areas. The object thus grows layer by layer. The non-bonded material serves as a support structure during the printing process and allows a very large freedom of form, which is only limited by the installation space.

The size of the components depends on the job box. Our standard SPI10 printer can print 10m³. This means that the printer can print components with a length of 4 meters, a width of 2.5 meters and a height of 1 meter. We, as special engineers and machine builders, can customize the printer up to a certain point in height and length according to the customer's requirements.
