Purchase Roadmap

We have developed an all-in-one system for 3D concrete printing. In order to define the entire system with you, we have defined a roadmap based on our experience to guide you through the sales process. Our experience has shown that good preparation can significantly accelerate the ramp-up phase. Our process starts with the introduction to our technology and our company, the observation of the printer in action in Bressanone, definition of the products, definition of the workload and a professional training in Bressanone and on site. Read on to learn more about how we can help you buy the perfect 3D printer.

STEP 1: INTRODUCTION

Most of our clients start the journey by filling out our contact form. Once we have your details, we will get in touch with you and arrange an initial meeting via Teams to go through the following points:

  • Presentation of the possibilities of 3D printing
  • Clarification of the limit of 3D printing
  • Open discussion about applications and possibilities of use
  • Production of a simple prototype or receiving a sample

STEP 2: EXPERIENCE THE PRINTER IN ACTION

The next stage of engagement is a visit to our headquarters. Here you can see the printer in action, view completed projects and get to know our team. Together with you, we will explore your first potential projects, share our experience and evaluate the project from our perspective.

STEP 3: ORDERING THE PRINTER

 

If you choose an SPI printer, a sales specialist will go through all the points with you to configure the printer so that it meets 100% of your requirements. Below are a few points that will be defined:

  • Printer size
  • Number of job boxes
  • Definition layout
  • Production volume
  • Performance Printer
  • Concrete quality (Strengths & surface)
  • Number of materials

STEP 4: KICK-OFF

Immediately after you have decided to purchase a 3D printer from , the kick-off meeting is organized. The kick-off meeting is the cornerstone for further cooperation, where all questions are discussed and everything is arranged to guarantee a successful project. The following points are discussed and defined during the meeting:

  • Project and implementation team
  • Developing mix design with local raw materials
  • What steps need to be taken before your printer arrives on site

STEP 5: TRAINING IN HOUSE

We provide a training course in Brixen before the 3D printer is delivered. A trainer gives a lecture on each individual topic to optimally prepare your team for the use of our technology. The training covers all topics from data preparation to printing and part handling.

STEP 6: COMMISSIONING AND SHIPPING THE PRINTER

Before you receive the printer, our team will test the printer in Bressanone and perform a test print in our production facility. Once the test process has been completed and the customer is satisfied with the previously defined quality, it will be packed and shipped.

STEP 7: RAMP UP PHASE

During the ramp up phase, our specialists support the operators of the system with training and specific know-how. Once the ramp-up phase is complete, your team is ready to operate the system and carry out all associated tasks such as cleaning, checking material quality, maintenance and much more.
